Cassiopeia Lancaster is a Freelance and Creative Writer and Relationship Counselor and Blogger. She mentors people to build self-esteem and confidence, improve their quality of life, and have better relationships using research-based topics, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and using her experience as a registered nurse. She is currently working on three novels.

The idea to blog started when she realized her writing could help people on Yahoo Answers. She usually answer questions about relationships, health, parenting, dating, and marriage. Then she made her own blog on 2008 but she stopped because she got so busy so she could graduate.

She always loved to write and in nursing school, that’s when she began to explore about writing medical articles. Cassie once worked for a year as a technical writer and medical blogger for a software company.

When she finally decided to pursue writing, she quit her job and started her adventure as a freelance writer. At the same time, she was given a chance to pursue her other interests such as singing. She attended a musical theater workshop on April 2014. It’s one of her best and happiest experience. She love to do it again.

The year 2014 were the most productive and challenging year for her, she knows what she wants and love, but she was really having a hard time getting opportunities.

Cassie started reading and learning about personalities when she was 14 years old.

When she got in College, she studied and tested the different personality types and had her classmates do it too, so she could compare and contrast.

The unfinished novels she’s working on is called The Guardian Program, Kismet, and Dead and Alive. There was a first novel she’s working on and she’s saving it for last, but it’s the most important story for her. The unfinished scripts she have are called Dream, the other one is for The Guardian Program and the latest is His Queen. As for now, she’s improving her English and writing skill by writing short stories, flash fictions, and giving critiques in Scribophile. It’s been a lot of help.

She studied Screenwriting in Writing Booth Camp for a while using her novel The Guardian Program. It was so much fun working on the script and her mentor was so helpful and thorough.

She always dreamed of having her own black cat and black horse. She love to name the cat Kibo. It’s a Japanese idiom meaning hopeful or wish. As for her horse, she’ll name him Gallop, just because there’s a type of heart beat sound, called gallop. 😉

Also she learned how to bake from her mom when she was 14. So far, her mom’s best recipe that she love are Blueberry Cheesecake and the dessert marshmallow with chocolate and nuts. She didn’t really know what’s the dessert called. She thinks her mom made it up.

In 2016, she attended her second musical theatre workshop and in here, she was able to study and improve what she know and her skills on acting, singing, dancing hiphop and ballet again. Also, it gave her an opportunity to learn about scriptwriting and directing from her mentors.

Cassie had been doing some counseling online for free to help people and is been sharing information about mental health to help decrease the stigma. She is currently close to finishing her courses in relationship counseling, and psychotherapy. She believes that getting a formal education will help her be more credible and she’d be able to help more people.

Cassiopeia Lancaster is a pen name. She picked Cassiopeia because of the constellation from the Greek mythology Queen Cassiopeia. She picked Lancaster from Lady Marian of Lancaster from Robin Hood.

She writes to make a sincere human connection and to be accepted and understood. She wants to understand other people as well, make friends and also to help other people with her knowledge, skills, and her writing.

Cassie grew up as a woman full of innocence, ideals, and naivety. She’s grateful for having experiences that had hurt her enough to grow, to lose her ideals in people due to the bullying and abuse, lose some major part of her innocence, some ideals, kindness, and heart when she’d fallen in love with D. She became more of an intellectual and academe person, rather than a believer in almost everything like Fox Mulder from The X-Files. Her motto when she graduated in College, reverberates in her, after all these years.

Life is not exactly what it seems.

She wants to share a much more important lesson for her.

Love is not just a feeling, and a responsibility, it is also a wild, intense and tenacious freak of nature. You need to learn and understand it to tame it, and make good use of it in your life. She’s so grateful, she’d been broken and hurt enough to finally know how to love. 😉

  3. Hi!
I think it’s wonderful you help people with relationship answers. Your background certainly gives you credibility to help people.
I have always wanted to answer questions on Yahoo answers. How would I be able to do that?

    • Thank you so much, it means a lot to hear it from you and also for welcoming me.
In Yahoo Answers, if you already have an account, go to answers.yahoo.com. On the left side, you will find the different categories of question to answer. Just find the category you’re familiar with, and you can choose questions to answer. Good luck!

        • Hi Kristy, Thank you again for the nomination, it means a lot.
I am now working on my list. Oh my God, I didn’t know it would be this hard.

Anyway, I can’t believe you have a background in theatre. I don’t, but I love musical theatre. I attended a workshop last year and it’s one of my happiest moments of my life. I love to act and sing onstage and tell stories with my voice.

I cant sing 😦 but I do have a history of dancing, my favorite was contemporary dance! I love watching musicals though, I saw Wicked in London last year and it was incredible. • Yeah, it was hard. I’m glad the search is over. 🙂
I have a background in singing and dancing, in fact, I took ballet lessons as a little girl, then I had some exposure on hip hop, and ballroom in high school.
Oh my God! I love Wicked too, I saw it last year. Another musicals I love… In The Heights, Legally Blonde, and Rent.
